Last month, the 'Blondes vs. Brunettes' Alzheimers Association event was a tremendous success. The two teams, led by captains Kiersten Hess (Blondes) and Breanna Czenczelewski (Brunettes), helped raise nearly $80,000. Steel Cut was proud to one of the sponsors, alongside local businesses such as Figueroa Mountain Brewery, KJEE, and Sotheby's Realty.
While the Blonde team took the trophy at the end of the game, the competitive nature from both teams was a sight to see! From the coaches shouting out elaborate plays, players barking at referees for missed calls, fans waiving clever signs, and cold beer being poured, it felt like a good old-fashioned day of football! It was apparent everyone attending had a day to remember.
Stay tuned for our exclusive release of the Blondes vs. Brunettes 2016 showdown, coming soon!
